About Us

The British Interior Design Association defines interior designers 'as persons qualified by training and experience to plan and supervise the design and execution of interiors and their furnishings, and to organise the various arts and crafts essential to their completion'.

Although my personal ambition throughout my career has been that Interior Design is much more than that. It is about creating and feeling passionate about every project and taking care of details, and seeing an entire project through. It is also about me taking the responsibility for my clients and allowing them the fun of working through this process.

My passion for interior design started when I was about three or four years old and took shape largely by my mother's influence. She was what they would call a 'natural'. She had an instinctive and intuitive feel for creating beautiful interiors throughout her life. She taught me the ground rules of colour and never to be afraid of using them. She also taught me never to be afraid of breaking tried and tested interior rules and always try something bold, unusual and new. She would always be drawing my attention to interior design details, teaching me quick and easy ways to transform my bedroom by changing and sewing slipcovers, changing and making quirky and unusual lampshades and how to recycle what you have in a room into what you want.

Following a Bachelor of Arts degree I attended Interior Design college where I built onto this foundation by adding the more in depth aspects of fully fledged interior design.
I update my knowledge and expertise on a regular basis with workshops and keep up to date with board certified continuation classes and workshops.

My ultimate aim is to create 'interiors with vision'.
